Our Director
EDDIE APRILE

Welcome to HISPANA. You have arrived at the place where we make things happen. Here we provide services for people who are challenged by physical or cognitive experiences and can help you with services provided by the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities.
(https://des.az.gov/services/disabilities/developmental-disabilities). We provide Habilitation and Respite services to special children, young adults, and seniors.
We also provide extensive services for Spanish-speakers immigrants and help them with immigration paperwork, social security, taxation, and services available for them and those with low income.

Aside from my professional and academic careers, I’m involved with nonprofit services thru Hispana.

I have been participating or leading teams of professionals, technicians, and clerical staff to support IT operations, project deliveries, and initiatives for the City of Phoenix Information Technology Services, Public Works, and Water Services departments. My accomplishments include but are not limited to performing as a manager and or technical lead for various information technology disciplines to support servers, workstations, and applications while managing budgets, assets, and materials for daily operations and projects. As a certified and seasoned project manager since 2009, I have delivered results with excellent quality and undeniable customer satisfaction.

I have led teams of IT professionals to design, plan, deploy, maintain and administer existing and new IT solutions. I have managed complex mixtures of two, three, and N-tier applications in virtual and physical Windows, UNIX, Oracle, MS SQL, and web IIS ASP servers. I have used enterprise applications such as Remedy, Shavlik, Ivanti, Orion, Splunk, VMware, CommVault, Visual Studio, Milestone, Diamond II, Dell, Toshiba, Hitachi, Cisco, EMC, etc. I have worked successfully with IT staff from other departments, vendors, and contractors to support projects, server infrastructures, and deploy hardware, software, and enterprise applications.

My experience is well-supported by my education. I have completed all courses (62 credit hours) to earn a Doctoral degree in Business Administration, and I am currently working on my dissertation. Furthermore, I hold three master’s degrees. One in Management, which has undoubtedly helped enhance my business hard and soft skills. Another one is in Computer Information Systems,  which assisted me in polishing my skills in various technological areas. The third one is Teaching English to Speakers of Other languages, which is helping me communicate better at all levels of interaction.

I have also been devoted to sharing my knowledge and expertise. Since 2008, I have been a graduate and a research faculty teaching leadership, management, organizational behavior, and other courses at the master’s level (MBA) for a national private university. I attained advanced faculty certification status and performed as a senior faculty member for the university’s School of Business. I am versed in presenting lectures to technical and non-technical audiences. I have guided and mentored over 1,800 master-level students who have graduated from my leadership, Management, and business classes.

I have been a seasoned leader and a manager who possesses a thorough understanding of the «big picture» and in-depth customer service experience. I have directed operations to provide seamless information technology services to internal and external customers while maintaining high morale and motivation in my teams. My leadership style portrays an active communication approach supplemented by my ability to coach and mentor my staff. I believe in delegating, teamwork, and supporting my managers and subordinates. I always look for excellence in customer services and aspire to build strong partnerships with all stakeholders.

I am confident that my background, education, and experience can be easily transferable to the Water Services Application Control Manager position. Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Respectfully,

EDDIE APRILE
