Hispana is founded on unconditional support for people in need.
Hispana is dedicated to standing up for and protecting people in need, and to helping them become full members of their community.
Our mission
HISPANA is a nonprofit organization founded to help immigrants and other vulnerable members of our community move through the systems that too often stand between them and a better life. We focus on practical, hands on guidance grounded in real, lived experience: immigration paperwork, disability and Social Security benefits, tax filing, English and education, and support through the legal process, all in the language you are most comfortable in.
What we stand for:
- ✓ To promote and stand up for the rights of immigrants.
- ✓ To see each immigrant as an active member of the community, and to support them along the way.
- ✓ To bring care and quality to every person we serve.

Who we are today
Hispana is a small organization with a big heart. Our founder and director, Eddie Aprile, leads the work personally, with his own family beside him. Every program we offer comes from something he has lived and done, many times, for himself, his family, and the people around him. As Hispana grows, our goal stays the same: to make the next step easier for every family that comes to us.

For many years, as an immigrant and vulnerable citizen, I always had the initiative to help and promote personal growth in each and every one of those brothers and sisters who, in search of a better future, left their lands and families behind, and are now in the same position I was for many years. But today, thanks to the United States of America, I am able to contribute my grain of sand to help in the growth of this nation, hand in hand with our brothers and sisters, the vulnerable and most in need.
